Fourth Hospitality confirmed its status as the hospitality industry’s leading payroll provider with a victorious evening at the 15th annual Pay Awards at London’s BAFTA building on 3 November.
The company – which provides payroll solutions to organisations including Pizza Express, Wagamama and Carluccios – picked up the evening’s biggest prize of Payroll Outsourcing Provider of the Year as well as the award for Best Payroll Project of the Year.
Operations director Simon Bocca said: “I'm so proud of what we achieved tonight and delighted to see our team rewarded for all their hard work and commitment. We developed the payroll bureau service ourselves and today it has been recognised as the very best.”
The Payroll Project of the Year award was handed to Fourth and Tragus for the three month implementation of the people system solution while the Payroll Outsourcing Provider of the Year award required Fourth’s clients to complete a survey on the performance and service of the payroll bureau. Each nominated company required a minimum of 100 respondents in order to be short-listed.
Bocca added: “Fourth’s commitment to customer lifetime loyalty sets us apart from the competition and it is particularly rewarding to be named Outsourcing Provider of the Year as it was judged on the direct feedback of our customers. We see this award as the ultimate endorsement of our people, products and services.”
Everyman Cinemas was among the payroll customers eager to applaud Fourth’s big win.

Fourth’s success at the Pay Awards – organised by Pay Magazine – comes just weeks after the company was placed as the top hospitality business in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100.
